Sylco was established in 1999 and operates mostly in the Western Cape region and is considered one of the leaders in its industry. Reasons for our success include great customer relationships, training of staff, maintaining its own equipment, competitive pricing and diversifying of services.

What started out as a small sideline business with about five machines has grown today into a company with more than 70 units of equipment, 100 containers and a level two BBEEE rating.

We started hiring out earthmoving equipment to the civil, construction and agricultural industries and expanded the business into the transporting of aggregates, hiring out of containers, access equipment, and mobile cranes. 2011 will see a further diversification when we open our second hand sales division for earthmoving equipment and trucks.

The company’s success is built on a tried and tested philosophy which is to: “deliver consistent service and charge market related prices to our customers and last but not least to be the best and not the biggest hiring and transporting company.
